Biostatistics
Objective: Upon completion of the course, students will be able to apply concepts and techniques of probability, descriptive statistics, and common sampling methods within their field. They will analyze population characteristics using estimation techniques and regression models, and utilize statistical software to support technological and scientific advancement in agricultural and livestock production systems, improving efficiency. -
Animal Hygiene
Objective: This course provides students with the ability to identify risk factors associated with zoonotic diseases and health risks in livestock species. It includes the implementation of health programs, as well as biosecurity and food safety strategies in animal production systems, alongside an understanding of the regulatory framework in animal health. -
Research Fundamentals
Objective: To apply methodological research tools in the development of academic writing, derived from documentary research in their field. This enables students to become autonomous in knowledge acquisition and construction, strengthening their professional development. -
Thesis Seminar
Objective: By the end of the course, students will be able to define, organize, and analyze the methodological process in agricultural research, developing a thesis proposal using appropriate scientific methodology.
