Molecular evidence becomes useful when it is connected with farms, epidemiological context, and decisions that can be applied.
I study the circulation, diversity, and epidemiological context of viruses affecting swine populations.
My work integrates molecular virology, farm-level data, epidemiological analysis, field sampling, genomic surveillance, and scientific visualization. The main lines include PRRSV-2, PCV2, swine influenza, and applied surveillance in commercial pig production systems.
I also develop web resources that convert technical methods into transparent tools for research, teaching, and decision support.
